After we announced the start of the Drive for Innovation, we got a call from the good folks at the Peggy Smedley show. It turns out our start in Chicago is not far from their studios at Carol Stream, Ill.
How could we turn down their kind invite to sit in for a segment? We couldn’t. It turns out that while they were nearby they also had something very important to us: air conditioning.
We actually got two segments to talk about Drive for Innovation, and afterward Peggy, Connected World editor Mike Carrozzo, and Connected World media coordinator Monaca Leo and I tooled around in the Volt for a bit and talked about the wild ride that is the tech publishing industry.
