Parvus Selected to Showcase Advancements in Rugged Electronic Design

SALT LAKE CITY, UT–(Marketwire – May 29, 2012) – Parvus Corporation today announced that it was selected as a "pit stop" for Avnet Express' Drive for Innovation to showcase the advancements Parvus has made in rugged COTS computing and IP networking subsystems for military, aerospace and homeland defense applications.

The Drive for Innovation, powered by UBM Electronics and Avnet Express, the e-Commerce engine for Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), highlights electronics innovation and automotive system design in the United States with a cross country journey in an electric vehicle — a General Motors Chevrolet Volt. Since July 2011, the Chevrolet Volt has been making periodic stops throughout the journey, where Brian Fuller, Editorial Director of EE Times and the driver of the Chevrolet Volt, has interviewed more than 500 engineers, entrepreneurs, innovators and students, and blogging and posting video updates about his experiences. To date, Fuller has travelled over 23,000 miles and to 21 states.
